The
dynamic Elizabeth and James designer duo, Ashley
and Mary-Kate Olsen, are introducing two distinctive fragrances for her.
Ashley
Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen’s Dualstar Entertainment Group entered into an
exclusive fragrance license agreement with Kendo, a strategic brand development
and partnership division of SEPHORA. Celebrating both intimacy and
individuality, the twins’ creative direction helped developed two unique scents
that reflect the two: Elizabeth and JamesNirvana WHITE and Elizabeth
and James Nirvana BLACK. Containing alluring floral musks with notes of
peony, the WHITE is perfect and light enough for the day. The sensual, woody
scent with notes of violet, sandalwood and vanilla in the BLACK are enticing
enough for the night.
“Everyone
wants to experience their nirvana,” stated Mary-Kate Olsen. “Ashley and I
understand everyone’s nirvana is different so we’re asking our Elizabeth and
James girl, “What is your nirvana?”
“Our
nirvana is reflected in the juice, bottle, packaging and campaign imagery for Elizabeth
and James Nirvana and we’re excited to share it with the SEPHORA client,”
said Ashley Olsen.
The
architectural lines, rich gold accents and distinctive texture of the bottles,
designed by Ashley and Mary-Kate, are stylistically inspired by vintage jewelry
and mirror the design elements seen throughout the Elizabeth and James
brand.

Nirvana fragrances will each be available in three different sizes- 30 ml
($55), 50 ml ($75) and a rollerball ($22). The fragrances will launch
exclusively at all SEPHORA stores and Sephora.com January 2014.
