Alexandre Herchcovitch's Fall 2013 collection was an organic and erotic showcase, a figurative garden come-to-life. Herchcovitch told a vivid tale of a budding plant's journey through life.
The looks progressed from pure whites, bold colors, and delicate prints to deep browns and shimmering nudes. Peplum hips and slightly structured shoulders enhanced the already beautiful and feminine silhouettes. Shoulders and mid-drifts were slowly revealed as these "flowers" lost their petals and met their hypnotizing end.
There was an assortment of slim belts and slightly frayed edges - contributing to the image of a refined yet natural woman. Similarly, the models' hairstyles featured tight braids curved along one side while leaving the opposing side free to flow.
All in all, Herchcovith's "garden" was a sensual and captivating vision brought to life.
