Backstage beauty at Zang Toi began with skincare. Models were prepped with vbeaute, Julie Macklowe's skincare line that is paraben free, fragrance free, gluten free, and oat free.
Next was hair. Models were given high-volume buns that were very neat and clean. Locks were brushed back then fluffed up.
Look who stopped in in: Kirstie Alley! Zang Toi is a close friend of hers and one of her favorite designers. She got beautified along with the models.
The makeup backstage was AmazingCosmetics. The artists used a limited edition AmazingCosmetics eye shadow palette for the look. The palette contained four luxurious colors. The gray almost pale purple color on the left was used all the over the lid for a gorgeous pearl shimmer.

Obsessed with the Zoya manicure on this model. |
Zang Toi partnered with Zoya to develop custom colors for this show. Zang Toi's collection was full of princess gowns sure to make any woman feel like a Queen. Three colors inspired the collection - soft lavender, baby pink and pastel yellow. The inspiration behind the colors were ice princess. Three polishes were created: Julie, an icy cool lilac, Gei Gei, an icy baby pink, and Piaf, an icy lemon. The nail manicure you see below is using Julie as the main polish and Ice Princess (Trixie in disguise) on the tips. Learn more about Zoya's collaboration with Zang Toi here.
The models looked breathtaking on the runway in Zang Toi's gowns. I always look forward to his collections each and every season.
