Fotini is a brand know for their luxurious fabrics and intricate details on garments. The designer described her Spring/Summer 2013 collection as being "designed for a woman of mystery, elegance and grace; someone who imagines she is sitting for Fragonard to paint her in The Swing with cupid and cherubim fluttering around her."
The backstage hair was led by Linh Nguyen of Cutler Salon. Hair was curled and given luscious volume. Nails were led by Teresa King. Models wore a simple, clean manicure in a nude color. Makeup was led by Deanne Melluso of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. The look was fresh using light brown shades on the eyes and soft lips.
The looks backstage perfectly translated at the presentation. Fotini's pieces were soft, feminine, and clean. For me, the Fotini woman is elegant, pure, flirty and knows how to have a good time.
