Stacey Bendet's Spring 2013 collection for Alice + Olivia of ready to wear, gowns and shoes is inspired by the uplifting American optimism of the late 1950's. The collection epitomizes the classic feminism of the mid-century American dream - bold, sexy and smart. The presentation included full skirt silhouettes, corsets and bustiers, cropped pants and party dresses. Coca Cola dreaming anyone? Shades of coral, peach, sky blue and pink were displayed all around. The collection was playful but sexy. Spring 2013 is looking better already.
