The nail trend for Summer 2012 is all about COLOR. Bold, gorgeous and eye-catching colors are all over the streets. ZOYA never fails to deliver the best color options. I eagerly await to hear about their next collections. This summer they have provided gorgeous bright creams and foils.
Beach Collection
Zoya Reagan is described as a "deep, cool fuchsia pink with subtle blue undertone." It has an opaque cream finish and isn't overly bright.
Zoya Lara is described as a "medium magenta-rose pink with subtle yellow undertone." It has a soft cream finish and a candy-like pop of color.
Zoya Shelby is described as a "soft but colorful cherry blossom pink" It has a opaque cream finish. The color reminds me of MAC Snob or MAC Saint Germain lipstick. It's a beautiful color and a favorite of mine from the entire collection.
Zoya Arizona is described as a "softened bright citrus orange." It's a muted cream finish. The color is a gorgeous orange and perfect for summer. The color reminds me of orange-sherbet ice cream. Yum!
Zoya Tracie is described as a "faded, yellow-toned pistachio green with delicate silvery shimmer for a frosted pearl finish." The color is a fun shade for summer months and different than most shades I own.
Zoya Wednesday is described as a "faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish." I'm obsessed with this shade. It's stunning + so unique.
Surf Collection
Zoya Rory is described as a "medium mauve pink with lilac tones, gold and silver reflective metallic shimmer accents, and a foil-like finish."
Zoya Carly is described as a "very rich, bold, red-toned dark purple with iridescent red and silver metallic shimmer and a dense foil finish." This color would make a great evening summer color.
Zoya Kimber is described as a "rich, bright and saturated medium magenta pink with strong gold metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish."
Zoya Myrta is described as a "warm medium orange coral with red undertone, gold and silver metallic shimmer, and a foil-like finish." The color reminds me of a warm sunset.
Zoya Meg is described as a "light yellow-toned mermaid green with heavy gold and silver metallic shimmer and a sparkling foil finish." This color screams mermaid! It reminds me of gorgeous beach days + true green apples.
Zoya Zuza is described as a "deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer, and a foil-like finish." The color is between a blue and green. It definitely has summer days written all over it.
Rating: A+
Thoughts: I find Zoya polishes to be non-streaky and very long-wearing. The colors glided on well and wore for a decent amount of time without chipping. I've become a huge fan of Zoya nail polishes over the years and will continue to use.
