Lucky Shops is one of the those must attend events if you're ever in NYC. It's got it all -- red carpet, celebrities, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, makeovers, freebies and super deals from your favorite designers. This was my first time attending V.I.P. and it was more than expected. You arrive and it's a shoppers delight. Booths were set up with your favorite designers at awesome discount prices. Let's take a closer look at how my night progressed.
Open bar anyone?
Rebecca Minkoff was a hot booth as attendees flocked to in hopes of finding their dream bag for a great price. Discounts were slashed up to 60% -- a steal!
I definitely should have purchased this bracelet on the right. It was definitely calling my name -- next time I will go with my instinct.
I only picked up one goodie from the event -- a gorgeous rose gold/black watch from QVC. It called my name. My watch collection is constantly growing if you hadn't noticed from the last event I attended here.

After the event, I attended the Lucky Shops after party that took place at the Crosby Street Hotel. The hotel was gorgeous and in a great location. We sipped on drinks and chowed down on delicious hors d’oeuvres. I was a fan of this mini hamburgers they had. Yummy. Then we were invited to view a private preview screening of ABC Family's highly anticipated new original series, Jane by Design, starring Erica Dasher and featuring Andie MacDowell.
Jane By Design follows a fashionable teenager who lands at job at a fashion house when she is mistaken for an adult. Juggling between high school student and assistant to a fancy, well known executive, she must keep it all a secret and manage to do both well. I found the pilot to be quite interesting. The clothes were gorgeous and the story actually keep me engaged. It's a unique story and one that I think many young girls with a dream can relate to. Check out Jane by Design on ABC Family Tuesdays at 9/8c.
