Rebecca Minkoff G-Shock Launch Party At The Back Room

I had the fabulous opportunity to attend the launch party for Rebecca Minkoff's collaboration with Baby-G. The party took place at the Back Room which is an awesome speakeasy bar (in-case you don't know what that is:  a speakeasy is an establishment that illegally sells alcoholic beverages. Such establishments came into prominence in the US during prohibition. During this time, the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcoholic beverages was illegal throughout the US) Obviously there are no more real speakeasy's bars, but this used to be one and the entrance is hidden. The Mrs. and I arrived super excited to check it out.

The place was jam packed with tons of Rebecca Minkoff lovers. Displays of the watches were all over. The Mrs. and I drank drinks out of tea cups (a first for me!) The place had a old-style feel with velvet wallpaper, velvet couches, a vintage looking phone booth, and chandeliers. We sipped our drinks and had a great time. My girlfriend is in LOVE with the watch, so kudos to you Mrs. Minkoff. She wants one and so do I. Mission accomplished.
